Who has one??? Pro's and Con's??? Any help would be appreciated. |
That seems to be the thing with any GM product it seems like. Go to every dealer within a 100 mile area, none want to look at it at all or if they do just make up stuff to get you out of there. So your stuck fixing your defective vehicle yourself or paying someone to do what the dealer and warranty should do. Or sell it for what you can get out of it before anything major fails that the warranty wont cover. |
+1 I was to an outdoors show last weekend and they had H1, H2, and H3 sitting in a row .... No comparison ..... I'm not a Hummer fan, but the H1 is one fine looking machine - wide, though .... The other two have alot to be desired .... IMHO/YMMV ..... |
it IS the 3.5 from the Colorado, and on a modified TrailBlazer/Colorado frame. |

My best friend has one. His only complaint is power, but he says he can live with it because he gets good mileage. I can't tell you the number off the top of my head, but I'll seeing him this coming weekend. He regularly pulls an enclosed trailer with two Harleys in it, so the power can't be that lacking. He does wheel it often at Hummer's off road events, and it is less than a year old. He upgraded from a ZR2 FWIW. |

i drove one around for a day... very awkward feeling. it's way underpowered, it feels like you're leaning fowrard, and you have a massive blind spot behind you - as in i didn't feel comfortable backing up at all in that thing. i guess the best way to describe it is that i felt like i was driving a car made for someone half my size. i guess it may work for a 5'1" 95 pound soccer mom, but it doesn't work for me at all. |

Thats just blaphemous. BTW seconding the Toyota recommendation. Or NIssans Xterra if you are looking for a small suv with good offroad and reasonably proced. |
saw it at the auto show and liked it. |

Price range and number of seats needed would help. +1 on the UZJ-100 (98+ new Toyota Land Cruiser/Lexus LX470 for the uninformed) +1 on an FZJ 80 too Nissan Xterras are popular too.

Also underpowered. They got rid of the I-tech straight six and went to a minivan 3.8. |
Amen, lose all whiz-bang crap. I would buy a 2006, but not a new 2007 just for that reason. I don't drive my 92 YJ just because I enjoy peeing blood, but because of how simple and enjoyable it is. |
