I use EaseUs Todo. It creates a small boot partition, so you can boot directly into the program. There is a free version, but I upgraded to the home version for $30.
I have two identical SSDs in my box. Once a month I clone my active system drive to the second SSD. Any issues, crashes, whatnot, I clone from the backup copy and I'm back up and running in less than 30 minutes. Files like my Outlook email are on other drives, so there's almost no loss of data or files. My system drives is usually about 60 GB (on a 128-GB SSD) Takes about 20 minutes for the clone. |
