I accidentally deleted an entire category in 'contacts' and I am unable to retrieve it. I lost so much contact information and I don't know how to get them back. Please help!!!

deleted contacts go directly to the deleted folder. or did u delete that too?

have you ever sync'd it with anything like your phone, Yahoo, PDA, etc??? Pull it from there but becareful not to sync or it will just delete it from you other location too.

Sorry but I think you're screwed. Since OL keeps everything in one file, file recovery programs wouldn't help here. Have you ever made backups? find your old pst file and re-import your contacts.

I am absolutely NOT a computer expert, but I believe there's a way to restore your computer to a previous date.

Click on the start button and look

All programs

Search Files or folders

Type in Outlook.pst

That should have your backup in your C drive... it is worth a shot
