How are the Apache cases? I need one for my SBRs. 12.5" barrels. Just to get them to the range and back. Is the quality worth it?

The rifle case I picked up there a few months ago when it was on sale is really, really sturdy. Some tooling marks on the exterior from the mold but that doesn't bother me. I wouldn't hesitate to buy one. Pluck and pull foam as well. |

Is the quality worth it? i’ve got 4 in various sizes. work great. pluck foam. well padded. one for guns, one for cans, one for duals/therm travel. i did test one in pool before use just to see if it was truly waterproof. banged it around, dunked it, tried sinking it, etc. no leakage. |

I think GD cleaned out HF across the country when they did their 10 days of whatever, it was one of the items for like 20 bucks for the 3800 case. |

It is of course a Pelican knock off, but they are very rugged, do a good job in protecting the contents.
