| I need to replace a HID headlight in my wifes 97 lincoln markVIII. I look at buying it and it is like 90 freaking dollars. I see some replacements that convert it to halogen. Do these things work? I just cant take the whole 90 bucks for a bulb thing. Talked to the dealer and he said 300 bucks to replace it. I just wanna a cheaper way. Please save me hivemind. |
Lube up first, unless you like it rough.... ....squealing like a pig helps too. I saw it on a moovie once....  My '78 chevy truck has $6 headlights. I haven't hit anything at night, of course, the truck is so new, that may happen any day with the untested technology that I use....

I know this is unrelated but... I had a 96 Mark VIII and it was my absolute favorite car. Comfortable and very fast for its weight class. Unfortunately, someone ran a stop sign and I ended up rammed into a guard rail. I can tell you the airbags are real exciting. Wish I had bought another one to replace it but ended up with an F-150 instead. |
