Hi all. My local gun shop owner was forced to shoot an intruder who tried to kill him and another staff member and steel the guns, this happened about a year ago. Greg, the shooter, shot the BG in the gut with a .45 1911. He was not charged for shooting, cause in New Zealand self defence is legal, it's just not legal to have the means to defend oneself. Anyway, Greg was charged for having a semi loaded gun for the sole purose of SD. Two days ago the Judge threw it out of court and the whole country supported Greg. Now, there is a poll asking' Would you arm yourself to defend your family" Last night, pro SD people were at 85% and anti's were 5% This morning, pro is still at 85%, anti's have grown to 11% Please do what you can for the man and hit this poll. Well now it looks like PH is more important that SD. Thanks for the hits all. Anyway, I'm off to Gregs shop now, the bullet hole is still in the glass door. I'll be getting me some more ammo this morning, if I can get into the shop, it has been packed with supporters for some time now. |
