I was looking on Sportsmans Guide and saw some Wolf that was hollow point and wondered why anyone would favor it.. What kind of expansion does it get, if any?

I would think the possibility of fragmentation > any kind of expansion afforded by a hollow-point..

One would think that someone's that been around since 2002 would have found the Ammunition Forum and the Ammo Oracle by now......

Last time I tried Wolf 223 HP, it turned my rifle into a jam-o-matic. I haven't tried it again since

Their FMJ stuff works fine, and most of my other guns like all types of Wolf with the exception of my Springfield 1911 which jams every other shot with Wolf. So be sure to test a box or two before ordering a dozen cases
