I am trying to find air filter holding frame clips for a Lennox C26-41FC.  I can't find these things anywhere and with out them I am having a very difficult time keeping my air filter in place.  Do any of you HVAC guys know where I can get my hands on some of these?

I've tried internet searches, hardware stores and a couple of HVAC contractors with no luck.

Couldn't find them at either place.  I found them at one place on the net, but I would have to order 1000 pcs.

I'll be the first to admit, it doesn't stick to dirt. Stop by a local HVAC place, give them the puppy eyes, and beg.

Sorry Lennox likes to keep as much of their crap "in house".

I'd send an IM to ZW17, as he seems to know everything about this sort of thing.  Second choice––post a thread in the Do It Yourself Forum, as there are LOTS of knowledgeable individuals in there.

Use aluminum tape. Holds my furnace in the garage together. I don't know any HVAC guys that actually use duct tape.

In all seriousness, I really bet we can help you fab something up.

Can you take some pictures?

Here is a link to what I need.  They require you buy 1000 pcs.

They call it a pre filter clip.

There's a phone number at the link.  I'd call them up and beg––and offer to pay $20 for whatever number of clips you need.  Tell them your furnace is crap without the things.

Bend it up from some flashing.

The gray cloth duct tape has not actually been allowed on duct work for many years now.
It has a nasty habit of not working long term.

Do you need the PFC-2 or the PFC-4?  And how many?  I can't promise you anything, but I'm going to be at the I.H.A.C.I. trade show in a few weeks and I'll keep my eye open for a supplier.

Just realised I use a 1" filter so neither of those would work.  I'm probably going to have to fshion something myself.  Thanks anyway.
