Quoted: I know it's not funny and I'm sorry about the loss of your Yukon but your post made me laugh. I'm sorry, I don't mean to laugh but I'm just picturing a bunch of drunk farmers shooting the shit out of your SUV in the middle of the night while yelling, "Yeeehaw!!" View Quote That’s not even funny. That’s a really stupid and useless post. |

Quoted: I'm sure it will be a write-off and I will more than likely have to sell it for parts. Since it's a 6 liter LS and 4WD it won't be hard to get rid of. It's also a 2500. Still waiting on pics.
The RCMP are investigating. They will issue me a police report when they are finished. They have a feeling the shooter(s) are known to the farm owner. |

If the SUV is in Canada, they were probably apologizing the entire time. Sorry boot that, eh. The folks that own the farm were gone for the weekend, the are very scared. One weekend away and it happened? Damn, that is crazy. I hope you find a way to make it right. |

Somebody came out on my place just shooting and he shot a 55-gallon drum I had out behind the house. He did not know it was the top of the well and was wrapped in insulation. Luckly it shot the wires into and was not able to flood the pasture for days trying to fill the tank up. Still think it was part of the family.

That sucks. Looks like a nice truck. I guess without seeing pics hard to know, but if they didn’t hit anything too important I’d probably try to fix it.

View Quote All I know so far is that all the windows are blown out of it. Driving me nuts waiting for pics, but there is really nothing that I can do about that part of it. I have to stop trying to speculate why this was done because the farmer is a good friend of a friend and offered to store the vehicle when I needed to move it. He even refused to take money to store it, just wanted me to keep it registered and insured (which it is). |

Quoted: Canada tries to act like it's all sophisticated and European, but Alberta and Saskatchewan have a metric shitload of rednecks. Maybe even more than the US states bordering them. Not that it's a bad thing overall (especially when resisting oppressive governments). But obviously bad in the case of shooting up some guy's rig. View Quote The Maritime provinces are the same way, trust me. There is a reason Trailer Park Boys is so popular. It's because the funniest things are based in reality. |

I'd drive that bullet ridden fucker everywhere. Take up 3 spots and just leave it running with the doors open. No one would want to mess with you.

Quoted: Once you get anywhere rural, there's always SOMEONE that will either shoot up or strip any vehicle that's left too long.... like, more than maybe a day. Sometimes less. Dude I knew, his car broke down in a rural area, he had it towed the next day. It was already shot up. View Quote Sounds like a risk to one's health since it was on private property, in a barn. |

Is a girl's name carved into the seats? Seems like I heard a song about that. Sorry about your truck OP.
