Can ya change the point of view from 1st person to 3rd person?

Personally I prefer the 3rd person point of view as I get a better feeling for the terrain and just like playing it better looking down on the player instead of through his eyes.

Halo 2 was great for 3rd party views & I'm stumped trying to figure out how to change Halo 3 to a 3rd party view.

When you rip off a heavy piece of weaponry, like a plasma cannon, it changes to a third person view.

Only by removing a turret weapon, or in reviewing saved films (you can watch in third person or break the camera loose and fly it anywhere.

Otherwise it's always 1st person view.

BTW, I'm not aware of any way to switch Halo 2 to third-person view. Do you mean the PC version?

Yep, that's the only version I've ever played before now.
