My google-fu is weak!

Please let me know what you have used to successfully mount a handgun under your desk, table, etc.

Kydex appeals to me as well as a firm mount.

I have heard of a magnetic mount before but have no experience.

I bent some cardboard and stapled it to the underside of my nightstand almost 10 years ago.  Still holds my USP right where I want it.

Oh, THAT kind of mounting.

Anyway, Kydex holster and some screws, bolts, or construction adhesive.

I used to have a standard holster mounted under my desk. Used wood screws to attach it.

Thing is, that her hair got caught in it too many times so I had to put the pistol back in the top drawer.

Sterilite UltraSeal 1-gallon plastic refrigerator pitcher (lid removed), affixed to the bottom of the desk with several wood screws -

Cost: Under 2 bucks at Wal-Mart...
