Do you think the left isn’t on board for massive imports of H1b workers and even more unwashed 3rd world hoards? We recently saw this self destructive behavior by conservatives and independents in Virginia and look where that got us - a massive blue takeover with immediate draconian gun laws and huge tax hikes. Wake up and do the right thing. |

We can gripe about Vivek and Husted not being perfect candidates. But the simple truth is they are both far superior than their respective opponents. The stakes are too high. Get out and vote. Remind like minded people to vote. Ask conservative friends and family on election day if they voted, and if not, pester them to get to the polls!! Second Amendment supporters were able to bring enough pressure to force DeWine to support our objectives . . . and it can be done with other republican office holders. The same is not true if democrats are elected. |

She just visited a fudd by shop down in Jackson county and, while she was about as disinterested in the shotguns there as she is of sobriety, she used the stop to promise she "respect the second" and encourage responsible recreation while supporting common-sense gun safety that helps protect our children. You don't really have to read between the lines to see where she's going with this. Neither has a voting record, but one of them is sure signaling for good 'ol gun control. In rainbow packaging, of course. She won't even acknowledge guns for self-defense. |

You’ve been saying this over and over… Obviously the guy doesn’t have a voting record as an elected official. Using your argument we would never have any new members in office, because they too would have no voting record to pass your purity test. It’s a dumb argument, stop. Not being a career politician is exactly what the .gov is supposed to be. It was build as a part time job where successful people could use their skills to run the county. Now it’s a bloated wasteland. Not having a voting record is not a reason to prevent a guy from office. Change is good. |

Add the fact that the State GOP forced him upon us by kicking out all other candidates from the primary thus blocking the state republican voters from selecting the candidate. I think the argument that he has no voting record, and therefore cannot be trusted, is unfair. Everyone who enters politics for the first time lacks a voting record. Voters have repeatedly said they are tired of establishment politicians and want new blood, yet when someone new steps forward, that same lack of experience is used against him. He has clearly stated his positions on the 2A, immigration, the economy, and deregulation. They are about as perfect as you can ask for in a conservative candidate. You can certainly question whether he will follow through, but dismissing him solely because he has never held elected office creates a standard that no political newcomer could ever satisfy. As for your second point: hate the game, not the player. Conservatives regularly complain that the party needs stronger conservative candidates. Now that the GOP has backed one, forced or not, the complaint is that the process was unfair. We are headed in the right direction and you attempt to hijack it at every turn. Honestly, it sounds as though you may have supported Yost personally, since you worked with him, and are frustrated that he did not get the nod to get into the game, now you want to throw the baby out with the bathwater. Am I close? Because I would bet a paycheck that I am. Get over it. It’s Vivek or Amy. Quit pouting about it. |

Ohio voters are getting shitty choices, once again. But if you think you're doing something great by not voting for either candidate, you aren't. I truly hated DeWine. I called him a weasel to his face once. But still, faced with voting for him or a Democrat, I voted for him. Every fucking time. I hated it, but it was the only choice. When "principled" Republicans don't vote for either candidate, they help the enemy. Be an adult, FFS. Do the hard thing that you don't want to do, because you MUST. |

Sorry, they should have let the primary process play out. Since they can’t do that, I’m not voting for the guy. Not voting D either. But I can’t pull the lever for VR. Your conviction on this is to the detriment of the republic. You think you’re part of the solution, but you’re part of the problem. History has shown us this over and over, as recently as in Virginia. Thanks a ton, it’s conservatives like you who fuck it all up. |

But neither is a half dead house plant. Yet the half dead house plant is better than a Democrat. |
