I've been following the MI senate threads on FB. Dem operatives are trying to convince Jewish voters to support El kabong or whatever his name is, that openly wants them dead and excuses 9/11 as well as the recent pre school attack. At least hes not a Republican. They are told that keeping the D seat is more important than survival. Yes, they were openly told that. Their AG who was too frightened to attend her own party convention actually styled herself as Esther and asked MI Jews to vote for Haman. Do whatever you want but 4 years is long enough to fuck things up so bad that it will take decades to unlucky. I just read that in a free press poll, 70% of Temple Israel ( the one that was attacked) are voting Republican. That leaves 30% idiots, a nice change. |

So you are cool with the state party forcing all other viable candidates out of the race and anointing Vivek without a primary vote when he was polling single digits compared to other Republican candidates? This is a real problem and most on this board are ignoring what happened. All I hear is “you have to vote Vivek or you’re not a true conservative “. The mother fucking party stole the fucking primary and everyone is just cool with it because fuck Dems. Unreal. Vivek is down in every poll for the past month. When he loses you have two choices, deal with the party and make them follow the will of the voters next time so we get the candidate we want, or accept the next POS they shove down your throats. Fuck, they may anoint Amy Acton as the next Republican nominee and I am sure most here will say we have to vote for her or we aren’t conservative. At this point I question any Republican voter in Ohio that blindly votes for Vivek and ignores how he became the nominee. This doesn’t get fixed until you acknowledge what happened. |

Your state isn't like mine where I could afford to vote for the best candidate (Oliver), who like the Orange Populist Clown had no chance of winning the state. You need to introspect and ask yourself who is worse - Amy or Vivek? It should not even be a question. If your state GOP F-ed you like it seems, then that's a separate issue. If the people who grey-barred me were to read this, then they would have to admit that they were dumbasses or ingesting tanning cream made them dumbasses.

Go look at VA and see how letting Democrats win control of a state because the GOP candidate sucked works out. Vivek was handed the nod because Trump didn’t want him in his cabinet and he’s buddies with Vance. Welcome to politics. It’s a dirty business. Always has been. Trump ain’t perfect either, but I’m damn glad he’s there vs Kamala. I’ll be Damn glad when it’s Vivek and not Acton. At one point, as an adult, you have to reconcile your current reality. That is a choice between a crazy cat lady liberal who locked us down into a police state during Covid and a scammy slick talking Indian who probably won’t ban my guns. I’m also the guy who got shit on during the 24 primary because I felt that due to his religion/background Vivek couldn’t relate to the GOP base/rural voters. Well here we are.

Vivek Ramaswamy lays out his plan for mass migration into Ohio, which will in turn populate the state with chain migrants. There has been NO recent decline in Ohio's population. 2025: 11,900,510 2044: 11,860,621 2023: 11,808,390 2022: 11,764,950 2021: 11,761,443 Vivek told an audience at Wright State he will increase the population to 15 million. |

I’m super confused how you think Amy Acton is going to fix the republican primary process. Don’t get me wrong, they should have had a primary, but this is as retarded as voting for Biden because you don’t like how the republican nomination process went. |

As a governor he would have zero ability to bring in H1Bs or migrants to the state. Thats federal. What he clearly has said is he wants a better economy to attract Americans to move to the state, and to allow people in the state to have more children. The horror. |

ETA: and don't give me the whole not voting for VR is a vote for Amy crap, if he were such a great candidate there would be enough votes to carry him over the line without me. Latest polls have COVID girl in the lead in the same state Trump carried by 13 points. I am not the problem, the poor candidate is the problem. |

I don’t give a shit. That’s your choice. But quit campaigning against the guy every chance you get. You’re free to protest the GOP, but when you try to turn other people against its candidate, you’re actively helping the Democrats. That’s where you cross the line with me. We get it, you don’t like the guy because he’s not a true politician in your eyes, and he was involved in what you perceive as shady business… Great, leave it at that instead of pulling out your bullhorn trying to convince others to dislike him too. |

So much fail in this post. So expecting the GOP to have an honest primary and not force a trash candidate makes me a Dem? Your line is worthless and your attitude is no different than the Dems you condemn. Vote for the party candidate no matter what and without thinking for yourself or you cross this imaginary line? Take a step back and really think about what you are preaching here. |

Take a step back and really think about what you are preaching here. When you are facing communists and people who hate our country, or a tyrant that tried to enact more or less martial law in the state, virtue signaling about “refusing to vote for the lesser of two evils” is just that. Virtue signaling. The GOP won’t suddenly have some great self reflection because you decided to stay home. They will be too busy trying to stop Acton from fucking over the state. I’m not saying I have never done the same thing. I withheld my vote when Kaisich was on the ballot. Guess what? The GOP shoved DeWine down our throats the very next cycle. At least Kasich was an active gun grabber and might as well have been a Democrat with regards to policy. As has been pointed out, Vivek is a stark improvement on actual policy compared to every GOP governor candidate in my lifetime. Did you withhold your vote from DeWine, Kasich and Taft too? If you did, I can respect your position. If you didn’t, you are being influenced by Dem propaganda, and you just can’t bring yourself to admit it. |

It's absolutely mind boggling how not 2 years after the GOP was jerking itself off at how retarded the Dems had been for railroading a very unpopular Kamala Harris through as their nominee without a primary, the GOP does the same thing with a very unpopular Vivek in Ohio. Did they forget that the #1 issue for their constituents in 2024 was immigration, and that a growing proportion of their base has come to view various legal means of immigration as materially indistinguishable from illegal immigration? Did they forget that only months after the 2024 election Vivek Ramaswamy himself went on a tirade about how foreign immigrants were better Americans than Americans are, because-according to him-Americans are stupid and lazy? Are they just unable to see how bad of a look this is in light of how they spent the last few years highlighting how Americans have been institutionally discriminated against in favor of foreigners in their own country? Do they realize making an anchor baby their candidate is unlikely to generate enthusiasm among their base? But yeah....the problem is the people that don't want to vote for him.

Before you edited your post, it literally said, “He’s a bad candidate.” You’re on a public conservative website bashing the guy and trying to persuade other people to see him the way you do, all while telling us how your not voting for him, almost goading people to follow in the same footsteps. Don’t tell me you’re not trashing him. You have two or three active posts in the Ohio HTF doing exactly that. And to answer your question: Yes, the unwritten rule is that you vote for your party’s candidate, keep internal disagreements behind closed doors, and don’t publicly tear down your own team. I can imagine you playing for an NFL team that just lost on Sunday, then stepping up to the postgame press podium to talk shit about your teammates and their mistakes and faults in the game. That’s you right now. Good luck with your teammates at Mondays practice. |

I am happy to hear your are trying to get involved with the local party maybe they do it better next time. But right now every vote Vivek doesn't receive is one less vote Amy needs to win. |
| Gonna be real funny when all these people complaining about Indian H1BS (which are federally controlled and Vivek has no control over anyways) instead complaining about Governor Amy standing down all the police in ohio from working with ICE and then flooding the state with illegals anyways |
