| Let me start out by saying that I DO NOT KNOW THE ANSWER. I am looking for one. Lets step into the time machine back to the year 1984. The song is "One night in Bangkok". It was popular in the charts and (at least in my area) played on the radio with two different versions. One with a male singing and one with a female singing. The artist Murry Head won out and became the standard for the song. I actually liked the female version better. Does anyone know who sung the female version of this song? I searched Google and came up blank. |

Are you talking about the Robey Remix version? Louise Robey is the woman's name. Canadian song writer / artist. |

Here's the actual video (and better sound). http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aIoSlM1np1M
Note. Murray Head was the original artist from the opera "Chess". She might have been an option for the single when they tried to commercialize it into pop music. |
