I watched it with my older teenage sons, we have shared time playing all the big video game titles since they were small. That was the best part of the movie, all the 'video game levels' in there, sniper level, advance up the building level, riding in the vehicle manning the gun while the other guy drives and complains about targets level, it was all there. There was even a nod to Nazi Zombies with bad guys coming in thru windows. Everything was in that typical 'attack wave' style, with 99% of the enemies showing no intelligence, just cannon fodder.
Stupid overall, but I enjoyed it way more than I thought I would. The guy living in the avatars was a neat concept. |

Just finished it last night. It was awesome if you aren't expecting high art. The effects, fight scenes and gun fights were really cool and the final battle was just ludicrously violent.
Only issue was I finished it last night because I had to stop it the night and go lay down before I barfed all over. Got major motion sickness/nausea. Still an awesome movie. The British guy was a hoot and the battle out of the lab was cool, Sharlto Copley is an underrated actor. Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile |
