Hey all, I've been looking into learning to play a harmonica or just to mess around with one. Anyone know where to get a nice new one online? thanks for your help.

Musicians Friend has a few different sets that come in several different keys. It's a deceptively hard instrument to play well. I'd like to learn, too.

Cracker Barrel restaurants have some $5.00 Chinese Hohners that are high enough quality to get you started and cheap enough to throw away or give to some kid if you find out it aint for you.

Plus any ol' music store (one that sells instruments, not CDs) carries them too, maybe not a cheap as the Cracker Barrel ones, but they have 'em.

This is true. I remember getting a cheap one called a "Pocket Pal" that was surprisingly well made and sounded great.
