The traffic on this sub-forum has dropped a lot since it was moved.

Yep, for a while I thought this forum had been removed.

Then I happened to scroll down and notice it was down at the bottom.

Yes.

But we are getting Oscar bait movie season, and less action movies season, so that might have something to do with it also....

Personally, I do no work in that industry any more so I do not have quite as much to contribute as I once did.

But we do have a new deal section below this one that I have been enjoying.

I'm not sure why all the reorganizing, not a fan of it.  I liked it how it was.  This sub-forum wasn't getting a ton of traffic but now it's a ghost town.

Low initial traffic was a problem but there was just enough to make it worthwhile.  Now,... well, ghost town is a good description.

One other problem was with people who come for technical advice on home theaters.  They get immediately referred over to AVSFORUMS.com and we never hear from them again.

That and for some reason people have always tended to post about movies more in GD than in the this subforum for some reason. I guess most people don't know it exists. Maybe it's because alot, not all, but alot of new movies turn out to disappoint potential movie fans of all ages in the last few years. Jeez you gotta wade through alot of crappy back ground noise to find a gem these days.

High definition filming and cgi have their pluses, but some days I really miss the look of film.....and I've gone off on a tangent....

I am setting up a new surround sound system for Christmas. I recalled we had a HT forum here... couldn't find it.... looked all over... saw the low content here and registered over on AVS Forum.
