My business partner bought a Chrysler Crossfire. Damn thing is as much Mercedes as any real Mercedes out there. Frame is stamped, doors, engine all stamped in teh Karman plant in Germany........

Yup. It is pretty much one of the small Mercedes cars with different skin.

The only Chrysler vehicle I remotely think that looks ok is the Crossfire.

Naw, Chrysler dropped one of the prettiest passenger cars they had ever made, the Intrepid,

and now have that ugly Magnum, etc. Front ends look like their pickups. Grotesque.

Designs dont mean much when their cars are garbage. This is comming from a lifelong mopar man. 5 vehicles from them. Shame on me for encouraging their making crap. Pretty looking crap, but still crap.

But the Intrepid was a horrible piece of shit which was notorious for transmission problems. Resale value for shit too.

The whole LH line will not be missed. I'll take an ugly but mechanically sound car over a pretty piece of shit any day.

Mercedes has been going down the crapper since the mid 90's. Chrysler, longer.
How about those Merc parts made in China and stamped Germany? I suppose if the finishing touches are done in Germany, it's ok to stamp them German?

Actually I have noticed that a significant numbers of Chyrslers cars are sold to blacks. Their trucks more to whites. But I bet if you see the demographics on the sales figures there would be a difference.
