I first took the test when I worked for a large company, and ignored it as corporate bullshit. Then I befriended a guy who's real into Briggs-Meyer, and he made a big deal of us both being INTJs. After everything he told me and the links he sent me, it all makes sense. I can see how a lot of guys who would be posting here would be INTJ.

“THE COMMANDER” (ENTJ-A)

ENTJ here, and it's pretty accurate.

I worked for a pretty large company once, to say that there were some dysfunctions would be kind. SO...... we brought in a consultant, he gave all the management types the MB tests, testing a couple observations he had.

My self ( the VP ), and the President, were the only people suited to our positions, both ENTJ's.  Our sales managers, Ops manager, and CFO were in all the wrong positions for their MB types.

Him and I both quit six months apart, after the Board wouldn't allow us to make the changes needed.  I started my own business, stole a LOT of their customers, bought a sector of their business, and have lived happy ever after.

I would have loved to see the BoD profiles, but really, didn't need to.  Their ideas and actions said it louder than a half day test ever could.

I asked my wife to take the test and she got that. When I saw the pic, with the umbrella, work folder(neatly organized) and the birthday cake it was her to a T.
