Most of today I've had one.  Seems to be better now.

But tonight, after cleaning out my medicine cabinet of expired meds, I found a bottle of painkillers given to me when I had an operation last year.

Tylenol #3, aka 300 mg tylenol/30 mg codeine.

Will this stuff work for headaches?

If you can keep a pill down, it isn't that bad of a headache*.  I'm sure it would work, but it'll probably be a bit of overkill.

*My dad gets really bad migraines.  For really bad ones you have to inject painkiller due to the nausea.

Lol, overkill you wuss.

Why bother even taking such a strong narcotic for a simple headache?  Use a combo of excedrin and aleve, one of each and you will feel like a million bucks.  Also, don't drink alcohol and do drink a cup of coffee with the pills.

I'm a pain wimp when it comes to headaches.  Generally I don't feel much pain  When I had two of my wisdom teeth out, I never even used the pain meds they gave me to take home.

Excedrin has caffeine last I checked.  Aleve I took which (eventually) did a good job.
