I was watching the show "The First 48" on A&E last night and in one of the cases someone had been shot and killed with an SKS or AK type rifle.  Well, they had a firearms expert on the show and he said that when a gun is fired the cartridge case flies back and impacts the bolt, leaving a mark from the bolt face.  Wouldn't this be unsafe if true, as the unsupported cartridge case could rupture at the back?

Don't think "movement" of case, think brass flowing in all directions under pressure.  Striations from the bolt face would be smashed into the brass leaving a "signature".

What about the claim made by Lewis Machine Tool that their enhanced bolt supports the cartridge case fully with the bolt face?

LMT

Includes both our enhanced carrier which incorporate a longer dwell time allowing barrel pressure to be greatly reduced and promoting easier extraction, and our enhanced bolt which has a more resilient coating and stronger heat treat, as well as the cartridge case being fully supported by the bolt face. For usage with semi-automatic rifles.
