Hello to all, This is my first time on this site and would like to introduce myself. I go by Wheatie and I am a member at 1911forum and sksforum, and now here. A little background...I have served five years in the Marines, left in 2003, but stayed in the federal government. I own several firearms which include the rockriver entry/tactical. I wanted to be a member of this forum because I know no matter how much you learn about weapons and tactics, there will always be improvements and people who know something you don't. Greetings, Sir/Ma'am  welcome !Hopefully you've figured out that here in GD is pretty much a free-for-all and lots of goofiness ensues.  It's just General Discussion... Place to BS with everyone here and have a little fun from time to time.The technical forums are, bar none, the best on the net, as far as AR's are concerned and pretty damned good for everything else too ! This is a great site with tons of great and knowledgable people on board. If you can take a ribbing and don't have thin skin, you'll enjoy it here.  Ohh, and thanks... Average joes like me owe you folks in uniform an awful lot. You're in good company here. Lots of current/former .mil folks. You all are truly appreciated ! Take care, JB |

I hope you have fun. Develop a relatively thick skin if you are going to hang out in GD, and if you say something bad about Glocks prepare for the most unpleasant internet tickle fight of your life....
