Hello everyone.
Please allow me to introduce myself. I'm a man of wealth and taste...well, taste at least. 
I am an enthusiast of things which are loud and manly. I have several guns and two musclecars, although a divorce last year and the recession has rendered me impoverished and unable to enjoy these hobbies lately. I have some free time in the evenings, and have been killing that time on a gun forum. Now here's the problem: I told my girlfiend about it, and she joined up. Now I get a ration of crap whenever I say stuff she doesn't like -like if I comment that a famous woman is hot, or if I say anything that indicates that I haven't got the utmost respect for the female of the species. I do respect women, but like many men, I will joke about them being a PITA sometimes, and my GF takes these things seriously and sends me e-mails demanding that I retract my posts and stuff. Now she's got a new hobby of sending me PMs demanding that I respond in a certain way to threads- "because men will listen to another man." So, I decided that it is time to find a new forum  . I have 2 AR-15s, and a buddy of mine is a member of this forum, so I thought I'd try it out. (On that note, if you're a big eared hispanic guy with a penchant for wearing a Fedora, and you used to live in Dallas but moved to Colorado 2 years ago for a woman -how ya' been? )

I'm at work now, and I don't have a pic of her handy. Here is a pic of the last gun I bought though. I've saved it to a website.

I need a place to hang out and BS without worrying about her getting annoyed that I think some woman on TV is hot. I'm not even going to tell her I joined another board. Drama? No thanks. I'd like to talk about guns, cars, and stuff. Oh, I also like to argue about politics and such, but I'm not going to do that right away. Also: I grew up in Garland, went to HS there. I lived there most of my life; mom still lives there.

I'm suspicious. I browsed the forum a little first. From my experience on the other forum, I looked for where most of the BSing would occur. That's what I'm here for. I have guns, and I like them, but I'm too broke right now to buy new ones or even go shooting much, so I hang out in the casual chat area on the other forum and thought that would be the place to start here. |

Based on the other responses, I'm guessing that you're the resident troll-buster. You are good. I wanted to jump right into the forum, and I thought a little story about me might be more interesting than "Hi, I'm from Texas." I thought it might look suspicious, but you see the truth.

I obviously haven't been around for long but what are you guys always talking about do people come back after getting booted? And you guys are always a little suspcious?
