Brothers I need a little help. Pennsylvania prohibits the use of an AR-15 (or any other semiautomatic rifle) for big game hunting. I want to change the law for resident and non-resident hunters who hunt in Pa. I have written and posted a petition and would appreciate the help of those who appreciate the AR-15 and AR10 platform. Please follow the link below to the petition, read my arguments for legalization and, if you agree, sign the petition. You don't have to live in Pennsylvania to participate because changing the law will allow non-residents from any state to hunt with a semiautomatic rifle in Pennsylvania with the proper licensing. if you would please share the link on Facebook/Instagram/X... As much as I want it to happen it more than likely never will in PA. The game commission board members are to set in there ways and stay on the board forever. We came close about 7 years ago then they shut it down after a new “survey” was published. |

So I can see where the regs are coming from, but it seems silly to allow tube magazine pumps and lever guns while banning small magazine autos like a 740 Remington. Why not just institute caliber restrictions and magazine capacity limits as needed? I suspect they don't want people spray and praying 30rds of .556 at a whitetail, but blanket bans on semi autos don't seem to be the best option here. |

Currently you can hunt small game and furbearers in Pa with a semiauto rifle (but not pistol) Currently you can hunt deer and bear in Pa with semiauto shotguns...so, why not semiauto rifles? |

I would have no problem with a five round magazine limit. |
