I bought a new phone and my songs did not transferred to the new phone. I had backed up the previous phone to my iTunes on my home computer and now I’m trying to restore it but it says my password is incorrect. Can anybody tell me if there’s a way to get around this? Cause I cannot find a password I saved my passwords and I’m trying them, but they’re not working. Is there some kind of software that can hack into iTunes and get my password back? |

When you did the backup did you select doing an encrypted backup, and you had to input a password for the backup? That is not the same as your Apple ID password although you could have used the same password for both. I do not believe there is anyway to recover the password or reset it on a local encrypted backup. |

found this On your Mac computer go to Finder> Go> Utilities> KeyChain Access.app Double click the app and scroll down. Look for iOS Backup. There may be a couple of dates. Find the latest date of your back up and double click. Check the box "Show password" and enter your computer's passcode (the one that you use to login to your computer). This should reveal your password for the backup. Go back to iTunes and restore the backup using the password revealed above.
