My good friend, who always agrees with me politically, is a true libertarian conservative, and often reactionary. said to me today that he is voting for Obama. He is fed up with conservatives not acting like conservatives, and a bunch of issues. Sounds like he is more hurt than anything. He mentioned things like patriot act, renewed PAct, FEMA power, not Iraq war but mismanagement of Iraq war, dick cheney creating a 4th branch of govt, kowtowing to libtards all the time like little pussies.
I am tending agree with him on a lot of these points, but I fucking hate libtards SO bad.. What can I tell him to help change his mind, and help him WAKE UP and hold his nose and vote for Mccain. Edit to Add: He is voting for Obama not b/c he likes him but he feels the Republicans need to be punished for acting like douches the last 8 yrs and totally soiling the name of true conservatives. And never sticking up for their beliefs |

Remind your friend that while acting upon theories and principles may 'feel' noble –– nonetheless we all need to pause to think that there is nothing theoretical in the least about the socialism under which we would live –– in the flesh, in the here and now.
This isn't poli-sci 101. This is flesh and blood, day to day reality. |
