I am going to be beginning the Seal Warning Order workout next monday and am unsure as to what my diet should consist of.  Up until this point I have been excercising moderately to heavily and have just been eating what I want for the most part.  I am not what you could consider in top physical condition at 170 5'6 but am in decent shape.  Anyway, I have decided to start getting serious about trimming down.  What foods would give me the energy I need to complete the increasingly challenging workouts while helping me shed excess body fat?

Something along the lines of a Paleo or Primal diet.

Lots of protein and fat.  Limit carbs to post workout.  No processed food.

So reasonable portions of meat are good to go, cut out things like bread spaghetti etc.  What about vegetables?  I know that some are pretty high in complex carbs.  Are there any I should watch out for?
