I'm taking an IE class and we're reviewing stats. I haven't taken stats in a while and forgot how to do a lot of stuff. This is the last question I have to do before I'm finished with the homework assignment. I'm not exactly sure what the question is asking so I don't how to go about solving it.
Two processes are used to produce forgings used in an aircraft wing assembly. Of 200 forgings selected form process1, 10 do not conform to the strength specs, whereas 300 forgings selected from process 2, 20 are nonconforming. a) Estimate the fraction nonconforming for each process. b) Test the hypothesis that the two processes have identical fractions nonconforming. Use a = 0.05. c) Construct a 90% confidence interval on the difference in fraction nonconforming between the two processes. |

Everyone moans during the summer about school being out and the threads idle students spawn, and then when school's back in we get 'Do my homework for me' threads. I guess it couldn't be any worse than: ..do my day job for me ..fix my relationship for me ..diagnose my ailment for me ..google that for me ..[blank] for me |
