The biggun isn't the standard 20mm some know and love -

or it would  be more proportioned on the same scale as .50 browning.

I'm gonna go with 30mm AWSHIT.

not even close to the right answer the 50 is only 1/2" or so shorter than the 20mm

That sounds extremely similar to some of the WWII foreign HMG rounds used in aircraft guns...  13 and 15mm stuff.


But NOBODY shoots those anymore.  Half the ammo was mini-HE, the other half was AP or T...

The case paint visible in your picture would allude it to be a 20mm case...

I have one with those exact measurements. It's a case from a M103 20mm shell according to the printing on the side.

It's US 20x102. 102mm is actually 4.015. I'm betting the extra 35 thousandths is how much it grew after fireing.

jesus, it says PGU-27 on the side, its 20mm for a vulcan
