Alright ARF, I have this old revolver I got from my Grandmother years ago. I have no info on it other than its made in France and it is a break top action, and looks to be a .22 caliber.

H&R-esque.  I'm usually pretty good at getting these but this one has me stumped.  A 12 shooter.  Google was a blank, so it must not exist.

Same here, I've looked through books, searched the web, etc.. and all I can find reference to are the pin fire revolvers made in France.

And I agree, it's an ugly bastard. Heavy too.

Yes it is.  No detachable magazine.  Tube fed rifles are too.  A lot of them being sold here lately.  The people at rimfire central may be able to help.

Did they contract out to the French? It looks similar, but the Webley .22s I see online are 5 or 6 shot.

No markings anywhere, other than the grip?

This sort of thing I'd offhand guess is from one of the Liege makers, but you never know. I do know that quite a few of the Liege products were clones/copies/rebranded items.

But yeah, give Ian something to do LOL. shoot it over to him at Forgotten Weapons, he's a good guy. I've known him for quite a few years now.

Not a Webley.  Barrel latch completely different.  If it was English it would have 58 different proof stamps on it.

Google translate shows that "Armur" in French means "Weave" in English. That information did not help my search.

No.  I have a Webley MK that was made as a 22 LR training revolver.  It's nothing like it.
