Which one should I go with? TOS or Scottrade? It's been a while since I played and will be starting off slow however, my activity could pick up quite a bit in the near future. Whaty say you wise guys?

I'm not big into trading at all, just play around with a few thousand dollars, try and make some extra toy money, and I use ING Sharebuilder. It's free, no account minimum, and I already had some money stashed away in one of their savings accounts so it took like 3 minutes to sign up since all of my info was already there.

Just looked at the site. It's not free unless you know something I don't. $4 for automatic scheduled trades and $9.95 for buy/sell in a non scheduled fashion.

Well I don't think you'll find any brokerages that don't have trade commissions. I've been seeing some recommendations for thinkorswim too, I might look into switching.

No doubt, just when you said free I got giddy. I like TOS layout I just can't let go of the reccommended $3500 opener just yet.
