I'm In the market for a new multitool and I'm not sure what is the best one to go with. I'm going to be really rough on this so I want it to be able to hold up. Size dosent really matter much. I need one that will be able to do a little bit of everything. Any help would be nice on this!

After having several, the SOG with power pliers wins hands down. By far the best made and most functional I ever laid my hands on.

I like Swisstool.  I had mine a while and they seem to be built pretty good.

Don't buy a leatherman, it's made in USA.

I carried this

http://www.amazon.com/Leatherman-830040-Multi-Tool-Nylon-Sheath/dp/B0002H49BM

with this

http://www.amazon.com/Leatherman-931014-40-Bit-Assortment-Drivers/dp/B003E1QPZG/ref=pd_bxgy_hi_text_c in Iraq and didn't come across anything I couldn't fix, even someone's XBox!

I was a big Gerber guy for years.

A few months back I picked up a Swisstool spirit, and IMO it is one of the nicest and most overall capable tools in terms of being able to "do it all"

If you feel you will be relying very heavily on the plier function, probably time to look into a SOG.

This.  I have or had leatherman, gerber, SOG, and I can honestly say the victorinox swisstool is the best and not much more $.

These are what I have. They pop up on Steep and Cheap from time to time for $50.

I have had all types but asshole leathermans and although I think my sog power plier is pretty good, Swiss tool is tops.

I like them so much, I got one ea for the mrs and kids as well.

I actually like Leatherman (the tool, not the company), but if you go with SOG I'd recommend avoiding the PowerAssist. The rest of the tool is really good, but that feature is not my favorite. I'd not get the black oxide finish if I did it again, also.
