Here is the deal. I have a 300 BLK SBR and a soon to be completed 18in SPR Upper that need glass. My plan is to buy one scope with turrets, a LaRue QD, and move the scope between rifles. What scope do I want? I open to other options as long as they have turrets. I don't really have any place to shoot over 100 yards reguarly, but I do a few times a year. Don't recommend an Acog. I have one and want adjustable power. I might also use this scope for deer hunting on my Rem 700. Option A: Vortex Viper PST 1x-4x. $500. Supposed to be a great scope for the money. Option B: Leupold Mark 4 1.5-5x20mm MR/T M2. $900. More magnification. Leupold quality. No 1x but I have an eotech laying around on a LaRue QD. Option C: Vortex Viper HD Gen II 1x-6x. $1300. The king of kings. I got the cash laying around but you know, its still a little painful. |
