hi, i just got the COD:WAW game for pc. I loaded it up with no problems, and tried playing it, but it was real sluggish.
I ran a program to find out if my computer is compatable with the game, and it turns out my video card wont play it... can someone explain to me how I am supposed to remedy the situation? I assume I will need to buy a new video card. but what is the process for that? do I just swap them out? can someone explain this, or provide a link? also, my computer is an HP Pavilion dv6985se Special Edition Notebook PC. It has... Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium Edition, 64-bit (Build Service Pack 16001) 4 gig ram 2 processors running - Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU T5750 @ 2.00GHz (2.00 GHz Performance Rated at 3.89 GHz) Mobile Intel(R) 965 Express Chipset Family (Mobile Intel(R) 965 Express Chipset Family) any help/suggestions appreciated. also, does anyone know what interface slot type my video card has? |

Since its a laptop, you're most likely screwed.
VERY few laptops have the ability to upgrade the video adapter. Your currently running the on board Intel 3D video adapter. It's fine for everyday use, but hardcore games are NOT its forte. Check with HP to see what your options are, but I'm sorry to say you'll most likely be ebaying your copy of WAW. Good Luck Jon |
