Yeah I must be doing something wrong. Tried that. The number is coming out weird.

The original number in the cell is 3500

Putting in the formula it comes out as  385000.0%

The 3850 part is correct, but why the extra zeros and the %?

You need to change the cell format to something other than %.

Top of the page Format tab > cells > number -

You need to check the formatting for the cell

You need to format the cell as a number.  You have it formatted as a percentage.

7 secs too late.

Right click on the cell

Format cell

Under the Number tab, click on number. In the option to the right, reduce the decimal places to zero.

Hit OK

You have the format of the cell set to %, right click on it and there should be a format option. Left-most tab, change it to just a number and to drop the 0. The extra zeroes I can only imagine that you had the formula wrong, redo it.

ETA - Beat by a minute, I suck on my phone.

Sweet guys, thanks for the help. The cell was formatted for a percent. Changed that and good to go!

Thanks again!
