So tonight I decided to add a magpul ASAP end plate to my Pistol so I can use a one point sling with it. Got it all back together and then I racked the CH. The CH goes flying back and my BCG was stuck in my receiver extension.
I forgot to put the spring and buffer back in. Remember kids, a build is always good fun and games till you forget to put the buffer spring in. Took a minute to get that bastard back into battery.
That is all

By installing those parts, you just increased the weight.  That's no bueno for shoot (once) and skoot.

It's more a problem when you don't have a sling to hold your gun.

Did the same thing when I took that jingling POS ASAP off my AR to put the regular plate back on.

I tap the muzzle on a carpeted floor. It's fixed me up the few times that has happened.

LOL.  That feeling when it's halfway back and you know what is happening but your hands won't stop.

Yeah, I ditched mine for the Tapco version- bigger loop, no need for extra ring.  Sad when Tapco outperforms MagPul!

I did find that little peace for commercial or mil buffer tubes pointless. It has a little notch to fit into the cutout of the lower already
