#2,398: When walking into a gun shop it is best to remove the marijuana joint stuck behind your ear. The guy (late 40s) was lucky usually we have one or two LEOs hanging around the shop. He didn't look at the firearms, just wanted to know if we sold shoe laces...  On the plus side of things we have been getting more and more LEO business, and magically we are getting less and less of the "questionable" types coming in. Another helpful tip if you have to ask the gun store staff "Am I able to buy a gun?" most likely the answer will be NO. Yes we realize it was just one felony, you are no doubt innocent, cops set you up, and your old lady caused it all, but we really don't give a damn. Talk to a lawyer, the FBI, the ATF, whomever you wish just don't bother us.

You know, for bump firing.
The faint smell of burnt rope. The overall look of the person and especially his eyes. And I will be damned I never made the connection on shoelaces and the ATF case. Yep he must have wanted to make a machinegun...  it is so obvious now....
