Apparently, that particular dryer is out of adjustment, since it appears to be dispensing something considerably less savory than bacon...

Plumbing error, perhaps?

Interesting factoid.

The hand dryers in bathrooms practically negate the effects of washing one's hands, as the direct heat helps the growth of bacteria tremendously.  Paper towels should be preferred.

At least that's what I heard.

Source? That's a pretty short time to have any significant effect on bacterial growth.

Edit; Looks like hot air hand dryers are hot enough to kill many bactria themselves, and don't help in the growth of such at all.
