| I think maybe you should read the article. It's what anyone who is running for President is going to eventually say. And they all believe it, because they all want to be President and pick their own people. Jeb is one of the few who actually says what he thinks. I disagree with a lot of what he has to say lately, but he's up front about it at least. |

I'm not voting for Jeb. I do believe in intellectual honesty. And if any of you think anyone running for President doesn't agree with Jeb's sentiment, you're insane. They all believe whichever body or entity they are a part of is the one that should be deferred to. For most it's the Senate today. When one of them is President, it'll be the Presidency. I don't care.
Fuck Lynch. The very reason that Congress has to approve nominations, is to prevent POTUS from having the only say. Abrogating that is unwise. And no, POTUS does NOT get to "pick his own team" when it comes to nominations. He gets to pick the nominee, but CONGRESS gets to say yes or no. Precisely to prevent POTUS from picking his own team without having that choice approved by the legislative branch. But go ahead Jeb, be an idiot. I don't want you in that office anyhow. |

FJEB <- have we coined and/or using this yet? Now's a good time to start. Meh Jeb is just a useful idiot. He was in FL state politics when I was there, and I didn't exactly think he was presidential material. But being a shrub, I thought he'd eventually try for POTUS (and hated the idea). |

If the old guys with wigs that whipped King George had wanted POTUS to "pick his own team" they would not have written confirmation into the document. |

With the biggest shit-eating grin you ever saw on your face. And yes, unless the nominee is unqualified he/she should be confirmed. |

How is it that a large portion of america has been blaming Bush for all the failures for so many years and the Republicans think its a good idea to run another one?
I listened to his bullshit speach at the NRA convention and thought what POS family this is. FJB |

(there aren't many) Lynch is bad for America. She's the second coming of Holder, and can damage our Country - no matter how long she's in. Plus, if a Dem wins, they'd likely just keep her on, allowing more damage. If you stop her now, you don't have to worry about it later. |

Why? Fuck Obama's nominees and fuck him. If they can't get the votes, why should we accommodate? They can't get the votes because ever since Bork the Senate confirmation process has been used as a chance to grandstand and fuck with things. Prior to that the rule was simple: if qualified, then confirmed. You fail to confirm Lynch, then what? You get another Lynch. On and on. Confirm her and move on, and win the next election. But whatever, Lynch will be confirmed after the GOP senators get their chance to stand on their soapboxes. Then GD will berate those senators for losing their nerve. Fantastic Kubuki theater. |
