a buddy of mine is headed to Baytown next week and I am headed to Sugarland in two weeks, both for work. Any suggestions on fun shops, gentleman's clubs, restaurants in both areas?

If you fancy venturing further in towards H-town, check out Collector's Firearms.  You're unlikely to find a real bargain there, but you will find a heck of a lot you won't find anywhere else.

I will check it out, thanks.

I would have to second that recommendation for collectors firearms, the place is like a gun museum that you can shop at.

Also in houston if you get a chance eat at Fogo de Chao. Its a little pricey, 25-40 dollars a person, but you wont forget that meal. Oh and you WILL leave stuffed!

There is the boardwalk in Kemah. I would stop by Red Sushi and habachi there. Plenty of fun rides and rollercoasters too.

If there is a Fogo de Chao in Houston, you must go. It is by far the best Restaurant in Dallas.

From Sugar Land to Baytown is a 40 mile drive if not more so FYI.

Lots of things to do, check out www.thearmsroomtx.com for their brand new indoor range and rent some FA goodness, if you're there next weekend I'll be there working.

I ate at Perry's Steakhouse on my last trip down, pricey but great steak. It was a little upscale for this boy but the Cowboy Ribeye was spot on.
What's the menu at Fogo like?

There are servers that come to your table with a selection of different meats and you just tell them how much of it you want.
It's kinda like a steakhouse buffet, that you dont have to get up and walk to.

Beef filet, sirloin ribs
Pork loin, pork ribs
chicken
lamb
sausage

plus they have a lot of sides to choose from.

ETA....if you are in the westheimer area of houston and want an awesome burger, try Becks Prime. It's not far from collectors firearms
The burgers there are made with fresh ground prime rib.  Dont hurt yourself eating there.

Papasitos Mexican in Sugar Land is good.   any of the papas restaurant's are good.    Bobs tacos in Rosenberg is good local breakfast tacos.  swinging door barbq is good north of Richmond on 359.  There are tons of eating places in Sugar land most are ok  Bj s brewery is good if you like brew pub food and beer.

I don't go to titty bars but there are from what I have been told plenty of great titty bars in Houston.

Carters gun shop is not far away but not really worth a trip except for comic relief on the way to the titty bar.

My only hat tilt in Houston as far as gentlemans clubs go would have to go to the Gold Cup.

Comfortable atmosphere and seating, plus the girls are quite friendly. I've "heard" the lap dances there are worth it.
