Howdy all,

My department is hosting a High Risk Warrant Course March 7-9, here in Monterey, CA.  The course is being taught by Def Tec (Armor Holdings), and still has slots open.  For info, either IM me or go to the Armor Academy website at :

Ahhhh Monterey...I went to DLI/FLC in 1995-96. I really wanna come back to visit. Doubt I could make it out for that class though.

Which Language?  We host alot of classes, so I'll let ya know about the next one.  I'd buy ya a beer & everything: take you to Doc Ricketts.....see the IET hotties.

Arabic. It's extremely rusty after years of not using it (ETS'ed in 01.) But I'm hoping if I got hired on a Fed agency, they'd send me back for a refresher.

Seeing as I was 18-19 when I was there, I really need to go back so I can hit the bars! I was actually thinking of roadtripping out to the coast this summer. I'll let you know if I do. I'll take you up on your offer!

Russian 1988-89, myself.  The new Russian School on top of the hill, although they have probably reorganized by now.

You guessed it, Russian has moved.  Very small language now.  Can't imagine why, but Arabic seems popular right now??  Whuda thunk it.

Kinda figured that.  There were two full Russian schools running when I was there.  The guys in Arabic were in the same company as the Chinese and Korean schools, I think.  I figure that the ratio is probably reversed.  

DLI was one hell of a party, though.  Especially for a PFC straight out of basic training.  When I think of the money I wasted on booze i just  . . . .
