Wife and I have had the same comforter for a million years and it's been awesome, but it's about time for a new one. The thing is, we've bought about 4 from various box stores all around, and they are all worthless shit. They come apart within weeks. Someone, for the love of god, please point me toward a high quality bed spread or bed set that will last a few years. I don't care about price. |
| You want a light goose-down filled one. I sleep hot so can't stand piles of cover, we use ours year round, in the really cold months (Jan/Feb,) we add a light fleece blanket. We bought ours from Amazon, was about $150 (king,) but don't ask me the name. It was one of the 4 star ranked items, Pacific something. |

I'm less concerned with the content as I am the stitching and quality of it. |

I got a cheaper one at BB&B it's held up great for two years and even goes car camping The ones from Eddie Bauer have great reviews, but they are expensive. |

I know, that doesn't help you at all. I'm OK with that. |

Ever sleep on a bed spread or sheet at a nice hotel and wish you could have the same thing? This is probably where they got it:
Downlite |

Ikea sells the Euro style comforter/slipcovers The down filled comforter has removable covers with buttons. The slip covers can be washed, replaced, or changed whenever needed. ETA: I think its called Duvet Cover I got mine at Target. Simple walmart fiberfill comforter in a fancy, bleachable cotton cover. |

How 'rough' is on your skin? See, I would be content drying off with sandpaper after a shower, but my wife prefers something that is fluffy and soft. I'm the same with bedding, but she loves soft and squishy. |
