| first match today and I was getting things like 1.68 and 1.4 are these horrible for a first timer? what is a competitive hit factor for local stuff? |

I'm in IDPA, only shoot occasional IPSC for the steel matches. not 100% familiar with the scoring are you getting 80% of the target points? make the minumum amount of makeup shots, but don't empty a mag to hit one plate don't worry about it if it's for first couple of times, but partner up with the top people there & you will do way better |
