Ok, I need to find a decent holster for a SIG P220 match with a TLR-1 light attached. The match is the 5" barrel long slide p220.
Leather, kydex, hip, drop leg, shoulder, anything that provides some protection and retention. Nylon bags are out. Been to one custom maker already and he said no to anything with the light. Please help GD! Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile |

The P226 option might work, you can enter 5" for the barrel/Slide.

I know that Alessi has made holsters for guns with lights attached.........I've shot with people using them in classes. According to the Alessi website (http://shop.alessigunholsters.com/), Lou's daughter is going to continue the business even though Lou himself has passed on. I've had an Alessi holster for my full size Kimber since 2003 and absolutely love it. It will probably take quite a while to get one though.....
You might also talk with Josh at Bulman Gunleather (http://www.bulmangunleather.com/welcome.html) about what you need. He lists the Sig P220 with rail as an available pattern, and he was quite happy to make me a semi-custom holster for my Kimber CDP Compact. It's his FDS design with the 'body guard' flap removed. 
I've been carrying this one for over 2 years. Very comfortable, very fast, and superb retention, up to and including a brief time in a mosh pit. Don't ask 
Both holsters are variations on Bruce Nelson's 'Professional' design and have served me well for daily concealed carry. |
