No, no I didn't get some wild burr up my butt to wax and post.  I Just made a round trip to Portland [Oregon] and back and lived [Thank you Lord] to tell about it.

My life flashed before my eyes no less than 5 times - okay the first time was when a state police flew past me with his sirens going and I'm pretty sure I was going 66 rather than 65.  It's hard to tell though, to be perfectly honest.

The 2nd time was when stopped in bumper to bumper traffic down South East Portland [bad side of town] and I had a gangster sit on my car.  [My hand rested quickly on my .45 but really nothing happened.

The 3rd time I was trying to head out to see a friend and client of mine when a road raged idiot cut me off and swerved into the lady in front of me.  She banged her car into the side rail and I had to do a "oh sh*t...oh sh*t" several times to get my car stopped before sliding into her.  I stayed with her until the paramedics took her to the hospital and gave a description of road rager to police.  My assessment of her accident was a broken wrist and slight gash [if it was in Eastern Oregon - it would be butterflied together but since this is Western Oregon a plastic surgeon will probably put 15 invisible stitches under her brow].  Poor thing.  Very nice lady trying to get home from work.

4th time [on my what should be a 3 hour drive home but turned into 5 hours since we had freezing rain and intermitting snow for the last 90 miles] was when a deer jumped in front of my car.  I eased away from it and ran over a jack rabbit [sorry da_bunny].  Scared the living daylights out of me.

The 5th and final time [unless coming home to find no wine in the house is life threatening - which after a day like today could be?] I slide off the ramp leading to my house and just about fell on my kester [nice - albeit not terribly graceful recovery pattymcn if I do say so myself].

So how's the world according to ARFCOM otherwise?

Patty
PS I'm back to drinking my husband's scotch since we have no wine!

Well when I went home at 8am yesterday it was foggy and I nearly got in the same accident I got in in March, same interesection, car and someone doing the same thing,

I barely missed them, but I kinda want it to get hit again there, more money and I may even fix it.  I might could get repaired too or atleast something for the pain.

Maybe tomorrow I'll get my car wreck.

I was actually in your neighborhood somewhat then.  I was in Tigard and Sherwood.  Maybe that's not too close.  I thought of McNasty while I passed the curves and said a quick prayer for him.

We'll have to plan the Oregon ARFCOM shoot over here on our ranch so I'm not subjected to Portland traffic!

Well since my hubby works for the road department - I must say they were well sanded [here] and groomed.  In Portland, I had visions of drive by shootings!

Yah, I'm further South, than that.   Now imagine what you posted for traffic malaise while trying to maneuver one of these down the road.

You get the finger about once every minute.

Yes, the John Deere tops out at about 19.8mph
The Steiger does 20 or better.

No, for it taste like rabbit but, if prepared properly, it is a most delicious dish / meal.

I'm sure you're right.  I've never ate rabbit.  My daughter shoots them all the time but the rabbits up here have diseases so we do not eat them

Is it leagle to mount a gun rack in the back window up there? It might stop you getting the finger.

Good idea!  Yes, it is.  Often done here in eastern Oregon but not so often seen in western Oregon?!

Actually I did but regretably I'm in sweats, not the expected 'french maid' outfit that is preferred.  I am after all working off of 4 hours of sleep!
