I've chased bikes in a 90kt helicopter before and was able to catch them, they will out acclerate you, but as long as you keep them in sight you can "cut the corner" and catch up to them, once they stop somewhere you have their ass. You can't outrun a helicopter.

Edit: has anyone else found the comentary on chase video to be aggravating, the car/motorcycle being chased will pass withing 12 feet of another vehicle and they will say "look how close they came to a collision!!!!"

I think that happened here a couple of years ago. I remeber seeing that chase on the news...You might be able to outrun a helicopter, but you can't outrun the radio.

That whole speed of light thing gets you hard, don't it.

He probably could have gotten a few more hours if he had changed inside the mall and hauled ass to the other end.  That news helis description of him did him in.

Just by my own finely calibrated eye I can say without a doubt he was over 150 a few times in the half of the chase part I watched. I don't think he stole the bike, he rides too well to be a casual joy rider/thief. His speeds on the ramps were pretty impressive for a dude in jeans and a jacket....
