Maybe this is a stupid idea (if so, the thread will die) but I thought it might be kinda neat to see people's pictures that pay homage to a particular time, person, or event.
When I bought my last 1911, I wanted something reasonably close to a WWII 1911A1. Since reading all the Mike Hammer novels in my early adulthood, I've always wanted one. Here is my pic paying homage to Mickey Spillane's Mike Hammer.
