Has anybody made one? Got pics?

I want to make one that can hold a Rifle, Pistol and shotgun.

Here's one my buddy made. It isn't very good but it's made out of a suit case from goodwill and foam so he wasn't expecting a masterpiece.

Last time I posted this Pic every body just laughed at me and the thread sunk into oblivion.

Yes I know I can just buy one but that isn't as fun.

I like it … I much prefer the idea of a gun case that doesn't LOOK like a gun case to one that screams "HEY, look over here … this guy has guns he's trying to protect, which probably means they're expensive and worth stealing".

All those guns are his but I've shot that sucker with both barrels a few times.

I starts to hurt after a while but it's so much fun.

Exactly I have nice SKB two rifle case but I want to make something custom and discreet.

Not too bad, should have used a guitar case though or something a bit more out of the ordinary

Funny you should bring this up.

I've got a couple of the old school black Samsonite briefcases that I've been thinking about turning into gun cases. They offer good protection, are non-descript and look like they'd be pretty easy to get to work.

I need to read up on how to work with the foam though and build a electric wire foam cutter.  Just haven't really had the time to tackle it.

The other option is to turn it into an operational briefcase and AOW it. But it wouldn't be as useful under normal circumstances.

I'm working on making one from a Craftsman 26-inch toolbox. With the upper separated from the lower, an AR fits in it nicely and it's not as conspicuous as carrying a rifle case. Nosy neighbors...
