Anyone have an idea as to how to make your own fire resistant gun safe? I was thinking of using a contractor's job box as the basis and add concrete or fire rated gypboard to the interior...

Solution to the locking mechanism?


I don't know much about locks or safe doors, but Im sure big ass paddle locks would do the trick on the cheap...

Some guy here actually got a old VAULT DOOR FROM A BANK and constructed a gun room around it in his new home.


Hopefully someone will find a link of it.


It was awesome, and probably the best gun room I've seen here (sans collection).
