To simply see the results, just click 'Vote' Taking advantage of anonymity in this poll, how are you leaning? How have the debates, circumstances surrounding current domestic and foreign affairs, or performance/histories of the candidates affected your plans for voting? |
I'm glad it was just me that noticed that deception. In President and Vice Presidenital debates they kept saying taxing the rich was FAIR. I kept screaming communist. Lucky me I found Obama supporters to watch the debate with. They bought into it hook/line and presidency. |

He makes it sound sweeter by lying about it (I'm preaching to the choir here I know) and by either denying he said it when called on it, or by never being called on it at all. Someone once said "If you repeat a lie often enough, and with enough conviction, sooner or later it will be perceived as fact". Obama has reached the tipping point on his lies, people are believing them and becoming angry when someone with less charisma denounces them, even if they have fact on their side. |
That's because those people don't want to admit they got duped... |

And as to the 12 "flexible McCain/Palin" voters, are you flexible about communism and giving up your guns? WTF?!? |
Hmm, I love Kudos. ETA: Of course, there have been many threads on the issues (and Palin's legs); though, I was a bit more interested to see what percentage of ARFCOM-goers are in the community's voting minority. I'd be somewhat disappointed, and completely shocked, to see that we, as site members, would be completely one-sided. I simply wanted an opportunity to gauge voting positions in an anonymous fashion in order to provide individuals an opportunity to chime in without being called out as 'trolls.' Even if I disagree with someone, I'm glad they have an opinion to exercise. |
Seemed for a moment, even McCain was getting flexible: www.ar15.com/forums/topic.html?b=1&f=5&t=769345 Not that this is news for those voting based on gun rights issues alone, as obviously, the Obama/Biden position disconcerting; however, McCain's position might be better-referred to as 'flexible,' as well. The tacked thread in the politics and activism sub-forum has some useful reading. This link from February had some interesting points, but I'm wondering if anyone here has seen something more informative in recent days? |
